Venezuela-OPEC Oil Output Dispute to Be Resolved

A dispute between Venezuela and the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries over how much oil the South American nation produces will likely be resolved soon, Abdalla El-Badri, the group's secretary general, said today.
"We reached an agreement with the Venezuelan minister and other authorities that this problem should be solved very soon," El-Badri said today at an oilfield in the Ecuadorian Amazon. OPEC doesn't doubt Venezuela's output figures, El-Badri said.
