Yet the events in the oil market directly affect what happens at this Robert Wiseman dairy. Rising Brent crude oil prices in recent months have meant increasing procurement, production and delivery costs for one of Britain's most popular dairies.
So much so, that the high oil prices have contributed towards the major milk supplier downgrading its profits forecast for the current year by £8.5m.
